Step out of the hustle and bustle of the city and step into Tangletown Gardens -- an urban oasis for both gardeners and non-gardeners alike. We are advocates of beauty. We have created an oasis that is tranquil, yet intoxicating -- a place of inspiration every day of the year.
We are both University of Minnesota Horticulture alumni, and we have more than 30 years experience in teaching, research, plant production, design and garden center management. We share a common passion, love and desire for what we do, and our business is truly an expression of us.
Tangletown Gardens is a living example of a small local business contributing to the betterment of the local economy and community in which we serve. We help support over 20 households and have created a team of individuals who care about what we do. We grow our own plants locally, using only the most sustainable practices, because it is the responsible thing to do. Our production facility in rural Plato, Minnesota and our storefront in South Minneapolis are vital parts of our local communities.
Hours of Operation
Tangletown Gardens is open year round. We make the best of every season;
as the seasons change, so do we. Come see us soon!
We will be closed Independence Day, Saturday July 4th.
